A Good Host

This outfit is very similar to a few others I've put on the blog, but with a new scarf and new purple leggings.

Thanks to Nick and Christmas.

We've had a few funny nights this past week.  I was in a perfect sleep, it was dead quiet,  about 2 am and all of a sudden Nick yells out in his sleep.  Loudly.  Very Loud.  I  screamed and sat up so fast thinking someone was in our house, so then Nick woke up from his nightmare.  He was seriously scared, apparently being chased by zombies.

Then a couple nights later at 3 in the morning, he was maybe sleep talking, but he woke me up asking if I wanted a drink of water.  I asked, "Why" to which he said, "Well you're in my home and I wanted to be a good host."  Really?  "No thanks babe, I'm okay."  Every time I think about it I crack up.

Wanted to be a good host???

Do you have any good stories of nighttime interruptions?

  4. That is too funny! My 12 year-old son is a sleep walker/talker and we have had some funny moments with him. About a month ago he came into my bedroom, opened my closet and went inside. Of course my husband and I watched in wonder, laughing. Then I finally asked, "Jack, what are you doing?" He said, "I'm going to the bathroom." We couldn't get out of bed fast enough to show him to the real bathroom!

  5. Stanton started scratching the pillow like he was tickling my back. He's also hit me in the face a few times....you'd think with a king size bed he'd sleep on his side, but no, he sleeps in the middle. He too has yelled a few things in his sleep. So funny!

  6. hahaha that is so FUNNY!!! My daughter talks in her sleep but it's usually gibberish. She sleepwalks too which freaks me out. I've walked by her room and caught her standing in front of her closet just staring at it. Freaky.

When my sister and I were kids we had to share a room when we stayed at my Grandma's house. One night, she woke up, sat bolt upright and was panting. I said, what's the matter? She was laughing and panting saying, 'I was under there for 4 weeks!!'
    Uhhhh...where?
    So weird.
