I've been doing this blog now for 7 months. Looking back on my past outfits I've had some definite fails and some looks that I'd do again. So I'll share some of my faves from 2011.
Here's to another great year!
We had a great Christmas.
We are so lucky to have such great family to spend the holidays with.
We went to my sister's for a delicious Christmas Eve meal, complete with fried turkey, amazing rolls, and the best apple cobbler we've ever had. My sister is quite the cook.
Then we played games and exchanged some gifts. Christmas morning we went back to my sisters and had a yummy breakfast. It's so fun to be around kids, their excitement is contagious.
We spent the rest of the day at Nick's parents house. We had another breakfast and just enjoyed being together.
Then to finish the day we went to my aunt Tamra's for the annual Christmas party.
Complete with mafia and some great jokes by the Arnell boys.
The beautiful Christmas Eve dinner table
Complete with stocking name tags.
My cute parents and niece Taylor and nephew Jake
The cute earrings, scarf, and shirt that Nick got me
Nick's mom does such an amazing job decorating. Her house is so warm and cozy
My amazing MIL Kathy
I thought it was hard to wait for Christmas when I was a little kid, but it hasn't gotten any easier! I got everything for Nick and I am dying over here trying to not give in and just give him all his presents. I guess it shows my impulsive, non patient personality, it's really hard for me to wait for stuff. Even if I'm at work and something happens that can clearly wait for dinner time talk, I can't wait, I have to pick up the phone right then and tell Nick. Sometimes I ask him if he's sick of me calling him (I seriously call him 4 times a day and the conversation rarely lasts 2 minutes) and luckily he still loves my calls.
I'm telling you, if I have something to say, I've gotta say it right then.
This Christmas thing is really testing my patience.

I am happy to report that I am finished with my Christmas shopping and boy does that feel good. I'm hoping now to get started making my first batch of Christmas sugar cookies. I'm off to find some cute cookie cutters. Any advice on where to get those??

Why can't you tell what color the sky is? Well that's because here in Utah we have a beautiful thing called inversion. Which basically means we're all just living in a huge cloud of muck. It's so bad that we live about two minutes from the mountains and we can't even see them. It's uber cray cray.
And we wonder why some of us need to get out of here and go somewhere that the sun actually shines.
