Then we went to H&M and I saw the cutest baby blue crocheted flats for only $15!. Yes and Yes.

Nick and I are dying to see the World.
We'd both rather have a modest home and not own any extras, ie, boats, trailers, cabins, etc, and use our money to see the world.
We found the coolest app called "1000 Places to See Before You Die". It maps out all the places you want to go and categorizes them into beaches, hotels, adventures, etc...
Our first priority is Thailand. We've wanted to go there since we got married. I am dying to ride an elephant and I've heard you can see a massage for $3. Actually, come to think of it I don't love massages, but you get my point.

I am a horrible artist, my husband and sister in law can attest to that. But the app Draw Something is still just so fun for me. My husband is an artist so playing with him is so entertaining because I think, "Wow, how did you know how to draw that so well?!?" I'm trying to talk him into giving me art lessons. I think if I could choose to have any talent I would want to be able to draw, actually I'd want to be able to sing, or play the violin, or a marathon runner, pathetically the list goes on and on....
Anyway, If any of you would like to play my username is katieredd2010.

A couple weeks ago we went on a great vacation with Nick's parents. We went on a cruise to Key West and the Bahamas. We had such a great time. I can't say it enough how lucky I am to absolutely love my inlaws.
Our first stop was Disney World, we went to some of the beautiful hotels around Disney World
Our first stop was Key West. We loved it! It would be a dream to be able to live there.
Dinner on the cruise. 3 course meals every night. Yummy!
Our next stop was the Bahamas and we decided to spend the day at Atlantis. That place is so amazing! Full of pools, restaurants, water slides, beaches, etc
My love soaking up the sun. Can you believe the color of that water??
I am officially obsessed with Jamberry Nails. I saw a lady wearing them and I ordered them the next day. They have so many different designs to choose from. The application is pretty easy and so far I've gone 5 days and they are still going strong. I love not having to worry about chipped nail polish, one of the most annoying things ever. The lady I bought them from said she can wear hers for 3 weeks and each set you buy can be for 2 full set of nails. Pretty good deal if you ask me!!
We had a great Easter, relaxing and spending time with family.
I'm easing my way back into the blog world, I've missed it,
but it's also been a good refreshment being away from the internet (well not completely away, but less for sure).
I have lots of things to catch up on so stay tuned!
Each holiday I am still so impressed with Nick's moms decorations.
It's so fun to be in such a festive house!
I have loved doing this blog and I'm grateful for the people I've met through blogging. But lately I've just been really busy and haven't been in the mood to take pictures of outfits, and frankly haven't had the brain power to write anything. I also still want some privacy in my life, it kinda creeps me out that people can see what I look like everyday.
So I'm taking a break.
I'll check in from time to time, but for now,
I'm kinda looking forward to taking myself off the radar and the blog for a while...
This weekend was so beautiful and for some reason any change of season and temperature makes me want to shop! So I went out to lunch with my mom and sisters and we stopped by Target and I found this cute little spring dress. Luckily I had a gift card from a student that I hadn't used yet from Christmas, so the dress was free! On a side note, if you're ever wondering what to get your child's teacher a Target gift card is always my favorite gift.
And I think in most schools teacher appreciation is coming up. You can thank me later.

On one of my favorite blogs, Jsevererydayfashion she asked if people liked wearing black with a pop of color.
So that inspired this look.
I am a color girl, but sometimes I still love wearing black, but I spiced up the look with a couple bright pink accessories. Too bad you can't see my shoes, come on photographer! Love you Nick :)

Does it ever happen to you that you'll come out of a situation and think to yourself, "I could have been so much nicer or I should have said this, or why did I say that?" Well it happens to me quite a bit. Today driving home from school I thought to myself that I could have helped a coworker a lot more than I did, I could have stopped what I was doing and really helped her out. But I didn't and I felt really bad about it.
I really admire people that automatically are so helpful and willing to put themselves out to help someone else out. I think it's the one quality that I want so badly to possess, but fall so short from it much of the time.
Life is a work in progress.
Other than a couple eyeshadows, I only wear Trish McEvoy makeup.
Well, I went to the Mac counter last night to get 1 item, the shroom colored eyeshadow. I love this color. Anyway, I told the saleslady that I just needed to get the eyeshadow.
Next thing I know I am sitting in the chair, having all my makeup taken off and she's putting concealer, under eye cream, powder, eye primer, lip gloss, and about 4 different shades of eyeshadows.
Did I mention I only needed 1 thing?
After she was telling me how the myriad of eyeshadows made my eyes just pop. I felt that I just had to believe her and buy them all.
Ugh.... Usually I can say no, but she was just so persuasive (pushy).
I better have people telling me how much my eyes are popping all over the place.
