I absolutely love this quote.
It's a little easier said than done, to wake up and not have any regrets, but it's such a better way to live.
Do I have regrets? A few.
But I have to remind myself that the person I am today is because of the mistakes I've made and the trials I've been through. I believe I am a more compassionate and understanding person. I also am much less judgmental. It's true that before you've really been where someone has been (which none of us really have) then you can't judge anyone.
I was talking to a friend a while back about the truth that I completely live by that "Everything happens for a reason and whatever you've been through or going through will work out for your good." I have seen this so much in my own life. The things that I thought would ruin my life, have actually turned out to be some of the most valuable lessons.
We all know life is far from easy. Even as good as my life is, I wouldn't say it's easy. But I don't think life should necessarily be easy. We all know we grow and mature from trial. I also think that having hard times makes the good times that much better because we have known the hard times of life. So here's to having hope that things will always work out for your best good!
I love that quote too. I have it written on my dry erase board on my fridge.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great quote! Even when we don't understand the difficult things, they usually turn out to be for the best or at least a valuable lesson. I have seen that in my own life as well!

LOVE it! Life is what you make of it. Ya it's not easy, but you have to focus on the positive. Life is too short!
ReplyDeleteif teaching doesn't work out you could always be a therapist. :)
