One of the best parts of being a teacher is the 2 week vacation you get at Christmas. But, man is it hard to go back to work. I love what I do, but I also love staying home, sleeping in, making Nick lunch, having lunch dates with family and friends, doing laundry in the middle of the day, basically being able to do whatever I want.
But, I am grateful to have such a great job where I get to see kids learn each day. They also crack me up on a daily basis. The little conversations I overhear are priceless.
One of the best was when I heard a little girl just straight up ask another little boy if he liked her. He denied it, but she let him know that everyone had already told her he did. No shame.

It is definitely tough to go back after the 2 weeks off! But the funny stories make it a little easier!
