Don't Ask

I'm a teacher and I told my students that this weekend was my birthday.

Then I stupidly asked them to guess how old I turned.  Did they say 25? 22? 27?

NOPE.

More like..... 46!!!  39!!! 34!!! 36!!!

The student that finally guessed under 30 got a prize from me.

I learned my lesson, don't ask how old people think you are...  especially kids...

Dress: Thistles Boutique, Shirt: Shade, Leggings: Urban Blues, Socks: Target, Boots: Nordstrom

  2. Too funny! I totally agree. We love how honest kids can be, but that same honesty sure can hurt your feelings!

Love the sweater + high heeled hikers. Your outfits are always soo cute!

  4. Ugh, kids! My oldest thinks I'm in my late 30's... still a little while before I hit 30 so that was a slight ego check. ;) I love the leggings with your dress. I'm finding leggings to be quite functional these days!
