The first year of our marriage I didn't do Nick's laundry. But, I finally decided it'd be easier for me to just do his because then I could put it all away too, and it wouldn't be left in the dryer for a few days. Well since I've started doing his laundry I've shrunk 4 of his shirts. I always dry all my clothes so I just decided to dry all his. Big surprise....That didn't go over too well.
So to make up for it I bought him 4 replacement shirts.
Well, I thought I learned my lesson, but this last week I not only shrunk another shirt, I shrunk his very favorite shirt. So now our deal is for every shirt I shrink, I have to buy him 2 shirts. Hopefully this will force me to be a little more careful.

That's funny that you're the one to shrink his things...it's opposite in my house. I would never (ever, ever) think of letting the boy do my laundry. Most of my nicer things have to hang or lay dry, and he doesn't get it. Luckily, I love doing laundry :) Good luck with not shrinking anything else!
ReplyDeleteDitto what the girl above me said! The hubs knows not to touch my laundry, because I'm super particular about what can and can't be dried! It's too funny that it's the opposite for you guys! Good luck with the laundry!
ReplyDeleteA couple of things - your hair is beautiful! Love the style on you and just in general! Second, your wedding ring is GORG! I love the cut and design and spotted it so clearly in that 3rd pic posted.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing at your laundry mishap (sorry!). Been there...but lately my husband has been trying to help me out around the house more so I have the fear of him ruining my stuff!! He would use the excuse that I don't need more clothes instead of agreeing to buy me more! :) hahaha
I feel you. I hate laundry mishaps, my husband is always so sweet about it, but I feel so terrible. I've shrunk things, gotten pink all over a load, bleached a load of colors...no fun :/
ReplyDeleteI now have a seperate hamper just for items that should not be dried, it is very helpful :)
