Self-Help

I am a sucker for self-help books,  maybe it's because I know I need a lot of help!  But really, these books have all inspired me and helped me a lot in my life. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I'm looking for another good self- help book.

 Do you have a recommendation?

This is a great book if you have fears in your life, which I assume most of us do...  It helps you take fear and turn it into personal power and action.  It teaches you that even though you have fear you can face them and eventually it doesn't seem so scary anymore.  Get out of your comfort zone and read it!

This book is kinda like a work book that takes you through 4 questions to ask yourself for any problem you might be going through.

After my recovery with an eating disorder I discovered this book and it's my new eating bible.  It's all about listening to your body, not seeing food as good or bad, and getting the "dieting" mentality out of your head.

This is full of great ideas and suggestions on how to just roll with life.  Which is hard for me to do, but

with the help of this book, I do a much better job

Now it's your turn to tell me some books that have changed your life...

  1. I just read (the majority of) Katie Couric's new book, 'The Best Advice I Ever Got' and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend it!

  2. Mile Markers by Kristin Armstrong. This book helped me through an extremely difficult time in life.

  5. I've never actually read a self-help book, but I know one book that changed my perspective was Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder, it is SOOO good. (Also, I love that quote on your sidebar).
